Delaware 주 응시 요건 변경(2012년 8월 1일 이후) 사항에 일부 변화가 있어 알려드립니다.

NOTE: On August 1, 2012, all first-time and re-examination candidates must meet the new requirements. No one will be accepted after August 1, 2012 with an associate degree and/or 21 semester hours in accounting. Also, first-time and re-examination candidates must have 150 semester hours in general education which must include 24 semester hours in accounting including courses covering the following subjects: Financial accounting, auditing and taxation. No one will be accepted after August 1, 2012 with
an associate degree and/ or 21 hours in accounting. If a candidate does not pass all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination by August 1, 2012, candidate can still continue to take the exam, but he/she will not be able to apply for the certification and/or licensure for the state of Delaware.

기존 Delaware 주 응시 요건의 변경 사항은 2012년 8월 1일 이후 응시를 하는 모든 기존 응시자는 부분 합격을 한 경우에도 해당 변경요건(150학점 이상, 회계 24학점)을 채워야 남은 시험을 응시할 수 있다고 규정하였으나, 이번에 추가 변경된 사항은 기존 응시 요건으로 응시를 한 응시자는 2012년 8월 1일 이후에도 응시를 할 수 있다고 나옵니다. 대신, 변경된 응시 요건을 만족하지 않은 경우 Certificate 이나 License 신청은 불가능하다고 표시되어 있습니다. 

NASBA 에 문의 결과, 2012 년 7월 말까지 first time application 을 진행하신 분중, eligible 하다고 확인되신 분들은 추후에도 현재요건으로 시험 응시가 가능합니다.

다만 application 서류 제출 후, review 시간이 필요하기 때문에 최소한 서류는 7월 15일 이전에 NASBA 에 도착하도록 해야하오니, 이점 유의하시기 바랍니다.
